STEP gives the wall depth you can read from across the garden — concentric stepped reveals telescoping toward an open square center, cut into a 7.5 × 7.5 × 4 in module. ModaConcrete’s HyperCast process holds each step true: dense architectural concrete, exact reveals, integral color through the block.
Please note: Product renderings may not show exact color or finish. Because the color is natural, through-body pigment, real variation occurs from block to block and with light and surroundings. We recommend ordering a single block to review on your project before placing a full order.
The Pattern
Every ring casts its own shadow line, so the face of the wall deepens and flattens as the sun moves — sharp and dimensional at raking light, calm and graphic at noon. Depth is STEP’s argument, and depth wants proximity: it belongs where people pass close — entries, patios, pool edges — rather than on a distant lot line where the relief flattens into flat pattern. Homeowners get a sculptural wall from a standard install; specifiers get genuine relief detail without a custom cast.

Installation
Two honest paths to a built wall. Low garden screens and interior partitions can be set in mortar or masonry adhesive, exactly like our Gen 1 blocks. Walls that need engineering use classic reinforcement — vertical rebar and grout, the same method proven on KUBE, TERRA, and ALVA. ModaConcrete’s rib-and-rod system for Gen 2 screen walls is coming soon. Whichever route fits the project, heights, spans, and anchoring come from your engineer: freestanding, tall, wind-loaded, seismic, or load-bearing walls must be designed by a licensed structural engineer per applicable code and AHJ requirements.
Shipping & Samples
Full orders ship by LTL freight, delivered by pallet to a curbside location. Ordering a sample? A single block — or just a few — can ship by FedEx at a much lower cost than palletized freight, so you can review color and finish on your own project before committing to a full order.
Stepped reveals. Layered shadow. A deeper face for screen walls.
